ASTRA

Your birth chart, calculated properly.

Enter where and when you were born and see the real thing — placements, houses, angles and aspects, computed from the JPL ephemeris and checked against Swiss Ephemeris to the arcsecond. Then take it with you: the whole chart on one page, as a PDF or an image.

How it works

Your birth data

Date, time and place. The place gives us the coordinates and the historical time zone, so the chart is right even for a birth before your country settled its clocks.

The chart, immediately

Cast on the spot from the JPL DE440s ephemeris. Free, with no account and nothing kept — and yours to export as a PDF or an image.

The reading, if you want it

€2.99, written once and kept, so opening it again later costs nothing.

Questions

How accurate is the chart?

Positions come from NASA/JPL's DE440s ephemeris. Every planet, cusp and angle is cross-checked against Swiss Ephemeris across sampled charts: under 0.01 arcseconds on house cusps, under 2 arcseconds on the planets. It matches astro.com end to end, Universal Time included.

I don’t know my birth time.

Tick the box and the chart is cast for noon. The planets are close to right; the houses, the angles and the Moon's exact degree are not, and the chart says so wherever it goes — on screen and on the exported sheet.

What exactly do I get in the export?

An A4 page: the wheel, the full placements table with houses and retrogrades, the aspect grid with orbs, your birth data, and a legend for every symbol on it. Save it, print it, or send it to someone who reads charts.

What happens to my birth data?

Nothing is stored for a chart — it is computed and returned, and the request is over. A reading you ask for is saved, because it is written once and kept so you can come back to it.

Is the reading written by a person?

No. It is written from your chart by a language model working only from the computed factors and our own written knowledge base, then checked against the chart before you see it. It is for reflection and self-development, not advice.
